Thistle Bee Quilt Shoppe

Now I arrive in Goldsboro, North Carolina, the home of Thistle Bee Quilt Shoppe.  Many of you will recognize this shop from the current issue of "Quilt Sampler" magazine.  Yes, it is in I HAD to stop by!  This shop may not be big on floor space but it packs a whallup in every square inch.  It is SO cute when you drive up and see this darling little cottage that is the quilt shop.  Once you open the door, your head begins to spin.  See.....
How cute is this?!  Don't you just want to run up the stairs and stay a while?
How's this for a friendly face?  There are samples EVERYWHERE!
If you love embroidery, then this is the place for you.  They have lots of samples...especially of the Crabapple Hill patterns.
The shop specializes mostly in traditional and reproduction fabrics.  Just check out all these samples!  However, the daughter of the owner insists on a few bright "modern" prints as well.  : )
Please click on these pictures to get the "big" picture so you can take a look around the shop.  There is not a square inch wasted anywhere!  I kept wandering around and around...then tried to remember where I saw what!
I don't know how she did it but there is a darling classroom for classes...and again a wonderful use of the space.
The red and blue quilts by the front door are the samples of the quilt in the "Quilt Sampler" magazine.  She has those two color ways and a scrappy color way available as a kit of that quilt.  You can get in touch with the shop by checking out  Tell her Doodle Quilts sent you.

...and the adventure continues.....
